Dapper fubar'd after lastnight's dist-upgrade

My DNS seems to be totally borked today and none of my efforts to get it
working have been successful. Is anybody else experiencing this? Does
anyone have a work around? I'm thinking of plugging the ip address of
the repository into my sources.list as a possible work around but I'd
like to hear some thoughts/suggestions from the group before I go ahead
and do that.
