      so where is that nvidia reverse engineering project going on
again ? what avenues can we explore ? how can we pressure vendors to
release hardware specs ? why should people buy a video card without
recieving the specs from the vendor directly ?

Heh, I dont have the answers to these questions, but I guess they
are the current general FLOSS questions we're all asking ourselves today.
