I've been tossing this stuff around on the Ubuntu LoCo Contacts mailing
list in an attempt to get an idea what other teams are doing around the
world. Most of the responses have either been "we haven't had a need for
this kind of organizational status," or "we're partnering with
already-incorporated bodies (ie. local LUG) for things like that." So I
definitely think looking into partnering with GTALUG and/or CLUE and
utilizing their resources and status to seek donations/sponsorships to
fund Ubuntu Toronto projects/events would be prudent.
