I mean, I've edited several company and nonprofit org websites in the past, but I normally go right into the codes and edit content-only, leaving structure and graphics alone. I guess I should learn css...Any ideas of something that makes it seem easier, for a noob?

I can only speak from experience, but with Nvu has been very positive. I
guess I can say it is my favourite. I came across this programme because
I needed to find an open source alternative to MS FrontPage. I started a
new position and basically the institution where I work did not renew
its FrontPage license across the board. Part of my job is website
maintenance and development, and consequently when I started this
position I was taking over a lot of HTML files, etc. that had already
been created in FrontPage. However, I did not have access to FrontPage.
Consequently I needed to find a quick solution.

A quick search on Google brought me to Nvu, and now I use this product
on a daily basis without a glitch (knock on wood!).

One more thing that I'm really happy with is that I'm using Nvu on
Windows. The fact that I didn't have to worry about license issues is a
blessing. It detected the FrontPage files no problem and just now I am
able to work productively.
