should we have a hard copy of winXP while we are buying a computer

They will not give you a refund. This happened to me at work and Dell 
and MS refused to gives us even a free CD of Windows XP Pro. Try 
downloading a copy for the net and then use the Serial Number on the 
Side of your computer.
