Hi Dany,
Take a look at the following linux distros:
http://www.knoppix.org/
http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/
Ubuntu also is offered in the form of a live CD and I believe (others may
confirm) that it comes with Firefox. The only show stopper I foresee is
auto-detection of the network connection upon boot... The station is hooked
up to a DSL, cable or LAN?
