Monitor Display Trouble (in Kubuntu Only)

Would anyone know why my monitor's display would be all wonky with Kubuntu,
but all right with Ubuntu? Both are installed on one of my machines, I have
all the restricted modules enabled in Kubuntu, but still Kubuntu looks
messed up—I keep on having to resize and re-centre and trapezoid, etcetera.
When I boot back into Ubuntu, however, everything is fine.
How can I get it so that in Kubuntu everything goes back to normal?
Furthermore, why would this be happening?
I have Feisty installed.
