OH DEAR

Thanks Jean-Franc,ois,
There is one other issue with my removable drive that I probably should
have mentioned before. That is, if I do a 'sudo mount -a', I receive an
error message stating the removable drive needs a check and that the
only way to mount it is to amend fstab with a line to 'force' the mount,
which is the way I have it running right now with Edgy. I guess I'll try
two things: re-install Feisty and try making the one of the changes you
suggest to cure the mount problem.
I will try to install the webcam again once I've got Feisty set up. This
could take a while with the number of upgrades, etc. and reloading my
favorite apps. Still tomorrow is Saturday, so lots of time! Thanks
again, Maurice :-D
