trying to get ubunty to see network and shared folders

I am trying to get my Ubuntu 7.04 (64bit) machine to see the shares on my
openSUSE file server. For some reason it was working before and when I
reinstalled ubuntu the other day it now wont see them. I've install samba on
the Ubuntu machine and enabled file sharing. My windows boxes all see the
samba shares fine.

I also put Ubuntu into the MSHOME work group that I set up for the Windows
machines.

Any idea what  I should check next?
