Dual Screen setups

I was given a Dell Dimension 8400 a few weeks ago to replace my aging 
Celeron 1.2 Ghz dinosaur. With it came a 17" Dell LCD Screen. I am 
trying to get it and my viewsonic to work with the built in ATI Radeon 
RV370. The best I have done is get the same display on both monitors 
with one to the SVGA port and one to the DVI. The screen setup shows 
different resolutions for the monitors but no 'Screen 2' prompts or 
settings. When I first put 7.10 on it [1 day of WIN XP was enough...] I 
did see some options regarding screen 2 but not now.

BTW the restricted drivers forced me into reloading the system as I had 
no display at all after loading. Suggestions anyone ?
