Acer Aspire 3620 notebook, switches that I'd like to switch

Today i started playing around with the powertop application, from intel.

if you run it with sudo, it tells you what are the programs/devices
that are eating you battery power.

As my latop have about 1 year of heavy use (i used it all this year
evey day, about 8 hours daily at least and without ever removing it
from the laptop...) its only during about 1 hour.

Just today i ordered 2 more batterys from toshiba, each for only 25
CDN!!!! Thank you, Toshiba!

But after watching powertop work, i realized that i can turn off some
services/devices that i don't use every time, like the card reader,
the cupsys and applied some other powertop suggestions.

I can't tell you if it worked, because i just made it, and hadn't time
to measure... maybe later :)
Bye!
