Very interesting article indeed!   

Eben Moglen and the Software Freedom Law Centre are doing some truly
amazing things on behalf of the free software movement these days.  It's
an interesting approach to create a third party agency that pays to gain
access to Microsoft's networking documentation in order to enable the
free software movement to create the tools to work with it without
"selling its soul".

Eben Moglen is pretty amazing himself and quite a visionary IMHO.

at the Plone Conference in Seattle a little over a year ago.   It's a
bit long (about an hour) but well worth it.   It's called "Software and
Community in the Early 21st Century".
