Ubuntu vs Kubuntu

Peter,

Thanks for your well reasoned critique.  For me, however, I believe we 
should leave KDE to others.  Xandros and others do a good job with 
this.  Why add to the confusion when the Gnome is a cleaner, more 
effective layout?  As an ex-XP MCE user, I had no difficulty with the 
transition to Ubuntu.  It was a pleasure.  Why not stick with Ubuntu and 
make it even better than it is?  IMHO this would be a more efficient use 
of resources.
