Will 6.10 upgrade to 7.04?

There is a few small unstanding bugs that are preventing me from a complete upgrade to 7.04.
wifi rt8180: should be solved very very soon
apache2.0 to apache 2.2 does not smoothly upgrade yet,

Yes the upgrade is possible. Usually concerns and possible pitfalls
in upgrades are documented on the wiki:

Currently there is only a small note near the end about NFS for users
upgrading from 6.10
