For those who are trying to burn an .ISO using WindowsXP I've come 
across "ISO Recorder" by Alex Feinman.  This is actually recommended in 
the Microsoft Knowledgebase.

Install, then simply right-click on the .iso file and select "Copy 
image to CD".

What application are you using for recording the ISO? Try to use the
Nero Express or ISO RECORDER, they are quick and simple.
