Teenagers are the most difficult age group to convert. Younger kids
have several games they like on Linux and are not attached to windows
yet, while adults are, usually, more concerned with desktop software
that is more likely to be found on Linux.

Teenagers are almost only after games, with the exception of some chat
software as mentioned. I would suggest showing them the few proprietary
games on Linux if you have any like Neverwinter nights or Quake. And
show them the few high end open source games like Nexiuz. I would
suggest not showing them any of the simpler games. Even though they are
good, they may view Linux games as not as good. Showing the beryl is a
good idea as that is very nice and Pidgin/Gaim is good too. I would
also suggest showing them Amarok, there is nothing on windows that can
complete :).
