ubuntu-ca Digest, Vol 31, Issue 35

When you say run command does this mean in a terminal?I've been using ubuntu for awhile,but just installed as main OS.I'm having trouble with Terminal and command line.Never used them before.

There are a couple of ways to getting the restricted plugins to work.  One of the first things I do after an install of a new version of Ubuntu is use the wonderful resource found at www.ubuntuguide.org.

This is a well written guide to making our favourite OS work better and bridge the gap from what we want and what we are used to.  To install the restricted drivers/codes from the Console run this command:
sudo aptitude install ubuntu-restricted-extras
