Grub requires the menu.lst file that is in your /boot/grub directory. When
you installed 7.04, it reinstalled grub and auto detected your
6.06installation and added it to the
menu.lst file. It is now looking for menu.lst on your 7.04 partition but
cannot find it. You can use a 6.06 or 7.04 alternate CD (not the desktop CD)
to repair grub and make it look in /boot/grub on your 6.06 partition.
