Screen res. on Hardy

Hi Chris,
That worked.Only thing I did different was to put "other"in Applications,Which gives me "screen and Graphics". From there I was able to Choose my monitor and resolution.
Thanks for input from everyone.

Hardy changed things up a bit...you have to enable the Screens and Display options to find your monitor and card.  

Click on System->Administration->Main Menu->Applications->System-> and put a check mark in Screens and Display

Then you will have access to it from Applications->System

That should help with configuring your display.  Had the same problem on both my Ubuntu machines.
