Hi everyone,
So Patrick made a small mistake, but he made it in good faith and I suggest
that we get back to other things now.

I really hope Patrick will stay with us (he told me that he will reconsider
his decision).

I spend everyday working towards an open source replacement.
I have started to pay developers to do the work I cannot do.
Now here's a great opportunity for an open source project!
I used to work for a small chemistry R&D company (they were looking for new
active molecules to sell to pharmacology industries) and nearly all lab
equipments had to be controlled by PCs running unpatched Windows OS. If we
were to install any Microsoft patches, the manufacturer would stop
supporting us. I'm living in Quebec and we couldn't use a French version of
the Windows OS even though some of the technicians had problem to understand
English. I think that a professional open source replacement for such
applications would be a great idea.

Is there a way that we can help? I still have some contact with my old
co-workers and some of them might be interested in such a project (testing,
suggestion, ...).
Sébastien.
