I don't know if it's the "main" language, but it seems like it's the
most popular. Probably because anyone with half a clue can throw
something together, even if it's full of security holes...
Other languages, I doubt they're going to replace PHP anytime soon, but
take a look at Python, Perl or Ruby.
The famous "exercise for the reader" for this thread should be to create
a web site using only C :)
