iPod Classic on Ubuntu - Thanks

Hi all,

Thanks for all the advise on getting my iPod Classic to work on Ubuntu. I
eventually got it working mostly. I can add .m3u playlists to it through
GTK Pod. I think I'm going to wait until Hardy which will (as rumour has it)
have full support. Hopefully then Amarok will run with it properly. with it,
if not, I'll tackle the problem again. I knew I would have to face a few
issues when I switched to Linux, that iPod was by far the most difficult.

Stephane Some - thanks for the iTunes blog, I couldn't run it though, it
grinds down the cpu as any collection gets larger.and there is no way it
could handle my collection, it was one of the reasons I switched - I found
that firefox was the last piece of software I could depend upon and thought,
why not?
