Packages automatically uninstalling?

Hi guys,

Couple of things.

Grub prefers the /boot to be ext2 or 3, if not you may have boot issues

The basic default does not Install Gparted, you have to manually add it.

Also Grub does nothing with swap.

The easiest is to create a new larger Swap with Gparted

Then edit the /etc/fstab (sudo gedit /etc/fstab) to point the swap to
the new partition.
You will see something like this:

UUID=303ddb67-d501-49bc-8311-14dd42fd42b3 none            swap
sw              0       0

You can change that to:
/dev/sda3 none            swap    sw              0       0
what ever the partion number is.

The reboot and you can check with swapon
