Hello all again.

I gets better and better, another Google search resulted in a fix for my 
Viedeo problems

Ran this command "sudo aptitude install nvidia-settings" and used the 
utility that now appears in "System --> Administration --> NVIDIA X 
Server Settings" and all is good.

I am now am happy camper-took to much work though!!  Now I can get back 
to working on the DART ROD!!
