No, your hardware just doesn't have the virtualization capabilities of
more modern CPU's, specifically the VT instruction set.

Xen, vmware and such will work, but without hardware support.  Which
probably doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things for what you
want to do, as hardware support is more of a concern if you want to do
things such as run unmodified Windows installs.
