There are many days that I think picking the colour of the case *should
be* more than enough. Especially for those of us who expect our
computers to *just work*. In 2009 I don't think that's an unreasonable
thing to ask. For example: Earlier today I was talking to a friend whose
computer was stolen. They wanted to know if they should switch from
Windows to Mac. I asked the most important question, "when it's not
working, do you want to deal with Rob (the local Mac guy) or Bruce (the
local PC guy)?"

For people who need to surf the Web, write a few essays, and send email
there really is no reason to be dependent on any OS.
