I have to check when I get home, but I think that's the one. I spent a full day trying to get it to work on 8.10 and failed gloriously.. lol. On 9.04 it worked OOTB within seconds.
You might have to change the mode on the modem (disable the auto installer for windows). It's easy to do it on a Windows machine, but a bit of work on Linux.

You wouldn't know it from the staff at Rogers. They insist it won"t
work with Linux because it says Windows/Mac on the box, but when they
actually look at the box, they can't find the text. They'll mention
some lady that couldn't get it to work and so on....
I did get a model number for the Rocketstick: ZTEMF636 Is that the
model you had success with?
