Ubuntu Ottawa group?

Calling

I'm looking to organize an X/K/Ubuntu focused group in the Ottawa
region. I know OCLUG is very active, and I'm part of that group, but i
have an interest in an Ubuntu remastering project and it won't hurt to
have some like-minded individuals to help out.

Those of you who are familiar with Linuxcaffe in Toronto have probably
wondered if there would be anything like that somewhere else. Perhaps
not, but I'm in touch with a busy cafe where the management is keen on
getting an internet kiosk or workstation to complement the free wifi,
music and fair trade coffee. If you want to help get free software in
the public eye, in a central location with nothing else around, this
is it. Small workshops, free software give aways, perhaps even funding
for some hardware.
