WUBI and 64 bit Ubuntu 9.10?

I had the same issue - kinda. I used wubi to install the 64 bit karmic
with no problems. I then uninstalled it and reinstalled it. For the
next 4 times I tried re-installing it I had the same problem - dropping
me to a grub prompt.

I then gave up and tried the 32 bit version and had no problem the first
time. I haven't tried uninstalling/reinstalling it - I'm keeping what I
have.

So you're not alone :)
