Hi Raymond . my name is John Papineau 
The best way I find to install Koala 9.10 is to backup all your personal
files Like picture document and your email and firefox profile , Then go
into your bios of your computer and make sure that your optical drive
( cd  or dvd drive) is the first one on your boot menu . When you are
done this , save your setting in the bios option the reboot your
computer with the koala 9.10 disk . When the computer boot you should
sea the ubuntu 9.10 selection menu. select the first choise , then press
enter key. after the computer finish to boot you will sea the vertual
Ubuntu screen . there you can find out if you internet work ,your
sound , mouse ,keyborad, after you know that all is working then , click
the install ubuntu icon and follow the direction.
