Firefox Sync Add-on

Xmarks (formerly FoxMarks) will synchronize bookmarks and passwords
between Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari. Opera to come
soon, they say.

There is also Weave for Firefox (and I thought SeaMonkey too, but that's
not in the docs). It will synchronize bookmarks, browsing history,
saved passwords and tabs. I don't think it synchronizes everything, eg.
toolbar layout, plug-in settings, font size & colour &c.

I use Xmarks, but only for bookmarks, not passwords. I had Weave
installed a while ago, but it doesn't synchronize to FF3.0 so it wasn't
that useful to me then.

At some point I want to use the Xmarks "Bring Your Own Server" to store
bookmarks and passwords on my own server. http://blog.xmarks.com/?p=1035
Weave is supposed to be able to do that too, but I didn't use it long
enough to find out.
