Hello everyone, I have been using Ubuntu exclusively for over a year now and
Lucid Lynx since it has been available.I am an end user and I really like
Ubuntu but have a hard time convincing others to switch. I find most people
are wary of leaving a system that they are familiar with. One of my
daughters is going to switch, but she was a programmer at industry Canada
for many years.
        I have a question about download manager, a lot of the items to
download don't mean a thing to me so I download them all but recently I have
been getting Google chrome suggested, this has happened several times, but I
already have Google chrome! How come ?  I don't like the idea of using the
cloud so I don't use chrome.
        I am happy with Lynx, so far no problems !   Ray
