Hi Alfred here. I was just going to get rid of the Tmp files and then 
make a copy of them, and get my Home Folder back. Stephen gave me the 
commands to use to do this.

Then wipe the drive, Partition it for say 2 Linux installs. Put the 32 
Bit Ubuntu 10.04 on it. Put some other Linux on it, Don't know yet what 
it will be.

9.04 is just about Passe now it worked very well on Linux Box Two when 
it did. 9.10 I had all kinds of problems with. I used it under Linux 
Mint 8 on the Netbook. Mint 8 based on Ubuntu 9.10 so I used many 
package files from 9.10 with it.

The first bought of Upgrades to 10.04 fix the problems 10.04 had.
