Video Issue?

By server am i correct to assume you aren't running any DE's or WM's?

Hi – running Ubuntu on an (older) IBM server through an
iogear KVM.  On wakeup, or after using the other server the screen is usually
distorted (like it was static on an old TV) only a reboot fixed – Any ideas
are appreciated.
