Execute disable bit on an mp3 player?

Hi Eric,
I don't think FAT32 filesystems support the execute bit. So it
doesn't have any place to store it when you set it. It just gets
discarded.
If you're only using a USB key on Linux, you can reformat it as ext3.
Not an option for MP3 players or memory cards that need to be used in
other devices, however.
