HELLO out there, I was having all sorts of queer things happening, no sound,
unable to download software from the centre etc.. so I reinstalled Ubuntu
from the CD and it seems to have cleared all that, but WHY was this
necessary ?? If I did not have the CD I would have been unable to fix all
this.
