On a somewhat related note, my laptop came with Ubuntu pre-installed
and that is the only OS officially supported by the vendor, yet it's
not on the "certified hardware" list.  Just be aware that there is a
lot of stuff that has in fact been professionally tested and still
isn't on it - the list is still sort of half-baked at this point.
