Did apple just copy ubuntu?

Why no offence, you don't see us give credit in some things we've implimented that Microsoft or Apple have gotten to before the linux community did.

First Microsoft now Mac.
I think they should have to give credit where credit is due.I think its only good if they acknowledge where they got the idea from.

Lets pretend Apple doesn't have http://opensource.apple.com/ Or that its based off an open source BSD clone, or that it has BSD licensed Open source software inside it.

By definition, if you own a mac, you own closed source/minded software

Those who buy Mac-apps won't own them, can't modify them, and probably won't be able to see the source.



Apple will probably  be able to revoke applications when they decide that information doesn't want to be free after all.
