There was mention in one of the replies about someone (Stephane, now
that I've found it) having similar issues.
There's a link in his reply to a post on the forums with something
that sounds real close:

May not be the exact thing, but it would make sense for it to be some
type of MIME issue.
Any idea what the ".???" is for those video files?
