firefox 4.0

If  you downloaded the linux binary package from the website, you need to
extract it somewhere say ~/firefox4
and then you can add a link at the top(if you're using gnome) Right click @
top panel->add to panel -> Custom Launcher -> Name: Firefox 4     command:
~/firefox4/firefox

Although I do suggest going through ppa instead of binaries
