unzip error?

Anyone run into this before?

Trying to unzip a set of folders containing zip files and I keep
running into this on some of them:
"caution: filename not
matched:/home/user/Desktop/folder1/folder2/folder3/filename.zip"
Most of the archive names are letters&numbers, maybe a dash in
there(di-0800a.zip), but it doesn't seem to have problems with that.

Here's what I've been typing: "unzip /home/user/Desktop/folder1/folder2/*/*.zip"
Tried -uo, tried -d with a destination directory, tried destination
directory but no -d(though I don't imagine that matters). no go.

Am I missing a switch somewhere?
I didn't see anything in man regarding issues with certain characters,
and google isn't giving me anything relevant.
