samba4

OK so I don't need samba4, Thanks.

So now the problem is that I can't see the shares on my other Ubuntu12.04
computers.

I have a local network with 3 Ubuntu computers on it.
and now I am setting up a fourth computer for my friend John.
>From computers 1,2 and 3 I could "see" shared folders on each other.
I took out comp. 3 and am setting up John's computer ( new one with
windows7 and now Ubuntu12.04.1).
Form Johns computer I cant seem to set it up so that it sees the other
shared folders.

What is the basic requirements  do do this?
