Mr. Stewart, LP, et al,
Thank you for your interest. I will pass on your information.
I'm advising an educational non-profit organization in southern Ontario
about their computers. I'm brainstorming about their options for computer
security, inventorying systems, planning/implementing backup (and off-site
backup considerations), electrical considerations (energy management),
networking considerations, etc., etc. I'm doing this strictly as a
volunteer... I don't know if they even have a budget. Since this is a Linux
mailing list, I must mention that this may include closed-source operating
systems and software...
Please consider this an opportunity to showcase talent (attention students
and anyone wanting to build up their résumé) and open-source software, as
well as closed-source operating systems/programs. I hope to demonstrate
Ubuntu and other GNU/Linux distributions to my contacts in the near future.
NOTE: I am not an official representative of this non-profit organization.
I will pass on personal contact information to my contacts, for those
interested. I will try to get the organization to join this mailing list
next week.
Sincerely,
Daniel Villarreal
