Please read the following in its entirety and then follow the instructions in order.

(1) In your browser, open a new tab and go to http://paste.ubuntu.com/ -- it should bring you to a fresh window where
you can paste text.

(2) Go to your terminal window, and using your mouse hold down the left mouse button and drag it over the output of
the 'apt-get update' command. Get as much as you can, but don't worry if you don't get it all. It's likely the last
bits contain any error messages.

(3) Go to the browser window, left-click on the "Content" box, then middle-click on the same box to paste the
highlighted text from the terminal window.

(4) Fill out the rest of the required fields, click the "Paste!" button.

(5) You will get a new page. Select and cut the URL for that page and paste it ion to a reply to this email. I can
then go to the same page and see what the output of your 'apt-get update' was, to see if I can spot any problems.
