touch screen

[Raymond House]

Hello everyone, if I buy a tablet or laptop with windows installed and
touch screen and I switch the OS to Ubuntu will the touch screen function
under these conditions? This may seem like a ridiculous question, but I
really don't know, and I wonder if anyone has tried it? I'm contemplating a
renewal of my present PC. Thanks.
