Version Update Process via Muon Update Manager

That is VERY strange. From everything I've read and heard, *intentionally*
upgrading from 32bit to 64bit involves some fairly extensive work to the
point that a full re-install is recommended when trying to change
architecture.
Are you 100% sure that
A) you were running 32-bit before (no re-installs where it may have changed)
B) that you are now running 64bit - this is fairly easy to check with "uname -a"
If you did in fact go from 32 to 64 bit during a standard upgrade, you
have discovered a HUGE bug and proper investigation should be done to
create a proper bug report.
