wireless printer

I have a canon mg2920 printer and it is a wireless printer.
I went through its installation instructions and it works fine from my
desktop to the printer through
my N mode wireless home router.

Now I have also got a laptop ( actually 3 laptops all have the same
problem)  and the laptop works fine using my wireless router for internet
etc.
But the laptop will not print to the wireless printer, it will print to my
old network printer.

So the printer sees the network fine and works from my wired desktop but
not from my wireless
laptops.

What should I do to make it work?

I have spent hrs. googling and trying but no luck!!!
