[Ubuntu-ch] Desktop-PC with preinstalled Ubuntu

Hi all

I'm looking for a desktop computer with Ubuntu preinstalled. Up until 
now I've always assembled my computers myself. Now I'd like to have a 
well tested, standardized PC with guaranteed driver availability and if 
possible a multi year service guarantee. The offers from Dell in Germany 
and France would be what I have in mind. In Switzerland I know only 
Transtec and Sun. Transtec makes nice PCs with usually Suse preinstalled 
(which would be ok), good service offers and reasonable prices, but only 
companies can order. Sun's workstations come with Solaris preinstalled 
(sort of ok as well), but are extremely overpriced for the use I put 
them to.

The funny thing is that you can buy various small appliances (routers, 
media centers, small NASs etc.) and big servers with Linux, but the 
middle-ground seems to missing.
