It's indeed much better than the one I wrote [1]. Can you please delete
mine, since it's now irrelevant?

Eventually can the "Join the Swiss community!" [2] one be made a sticky?
It gives detailed instructions on how to join the mailing list and our
IRC channel.
If you feel anything needs to be changed, please do.

I did put a wiki page up with pidgin-specific instructions too [3].
