Yes, this is the intented behaviour. We don't want people to post
BLOBs on the list. Attach it to the wiki if needed, and post a link
(like Tribaal did originally with the coloured version).

If anything was lost in the jpeg, it doesn't come back if you resave
it in a "loss-less" format :) Please archive the original file as-is.

All EXIF headers got lost in the converted png file...
